With this in mind humans were shearching for an advantage while their armies battled the wurm forces. A small group of men had discovered a small part of the dark arts of magic. They called themselves Necromancers and said that they were men blessed by the Gods. The Necromancers had learned of a way to make an army invincible. They had learned to raise the dead and one night when the a lumber camp had been gathering wood from a nearby forest some elves had ambushed them. The elves couldn't figure out how the men kept coming and where they were coming from. Finally the elves were beaten and one survive how had fallen under a log just saw all men just fall along side the elves. They never were alive the entire camp had been a living dead experiment from the beginning. That night the necromancers celebrated by killing themselves off and leaving one alive to bring them back and rule them for they thought once your dead your mind cannot work properly. The last elf had been able to get out and watch all this and in a desprate attempt to avenge the lives of his fallen comrades he put a blade into the leaders back after the others had been given life agian. Somehow though the fallen necromancers had enough life left in them to have "understanding" and they raised their fallen leader. The result from all this was the new race of undead beings.

After that it is believed that the necromancers made a "council" and chant all day all night. They chant to raise bodies that are willing to heed their calls and also to transfer their powers toi minons that works to raise their armies. The undead live near grave sights to raise dead. They raise only humans, elves, and xenorox. Wurms and Dragons are large complicated beast that takes too long and too much power to raise. They value Xen bodies the most because of their plentifulness and advanced minds. Raids have been done on the council before and the race almost dies out but after a few years a new one is born, usually of Xens, and still contain the orginal human leader as their... well leader.< / P
